flowers for machines

"i will take you back to the hub" the machine says, its automated voice grating on your ears in a lovely way.

"okay! oh, i found this flower, here!" you give the machine the white flower in your hand, as you do with all of your possessions.

"thank you, 3V" the plain monotony of its voice is nice and relaxing to hear. "i will put this in the archives."
